Ingredients:
- 1 kg beef (cut into small pieces)
- 2 onions (sliced)
- 4-5 tomatoes (chopped)
- 2-3 green chilies (sliced)
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander (chopped) for garnishing
- Oil for cooking
Instruction:
1. Heat oil in a large karahi or deep skillet over medium heat.
2. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger and garlic paste and cook for a minute.
4. Add the cumin and coriander seeds and cook until they start to splutter.
5. Add the beef and cook until it turns brown on all sides.
6. Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
7. Cover and cook on low heat until the beef is tender and the tomatoes have completely cooked down into a thick gravy.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or roti.
You can adjust the spice levels according to your taste by adding more or less chili powder and green chilies.
